Northwest Intentional Communities Association,

The Northwest Intentional Communities Association was formed by a coalition of intentional communities in 1992. We were involved in the 1993 FIC Celebration of Communities gatherings and have held summer gatherings ever since. We recently shifted from a membership-based to a donor-based organization- events we are currently involved in either organizing or sponsoring we hope reflect that approach and the important role both community and intention play in our global future.
NICA is one of the inspiring organizations working to strengthen the awareness and outreach of the Communities Movement. We’re deeply appreciative of their support and generosity toward helping make this year’s Art of Community even more successful than last year. They demonstrate the kind of cooperative values this conference is all about.
