You’re Invited!!
Following the National Cohousing Conference in Oakland June 13-17, the FIC and Oakland Morehouse invite you to a fun opportunity to connect with community minded folks, enjoy some good food and local jazz music, learn about the wealth of community oriented resources offered by the Fellowship for Intentional Community, and hear about the Art of Community immersive conference gathering in Occidental, CA.
Representatives of intentional communities from around the US will be in attendance to share stories and information about the growing Communities Movement and life in cooperative culture.
Food provided via in kind donations from local markets and organic gardens. In addition we ask that you bring a snack or beverage to share.
Bay Area jazz musicians provide the grooves!
This is a fundraising event to promote the Art of Community conference and raise funds for scholarships for event participants. AoC offers scholarships and discounted tickets to the majority of their attendees. Please join us in supporting this great cause and celebrating the concept of living “in community”.
Hosted by Oakland Morehouse, a 44 year old intentional community formed with the goal of pleasurable group living. They are a cooperative household of people spanning multiple generations living in a purple Victorian home in the Lake Merritt neighborhood of Oakland.
